Seminole Tribal Fair and Pow Wow

It is a New Year, so come on and experience new things! The Seminole Tribe of Florida will host its annual celebration of Native culture and arts, the 44th Annual Seminole Tribal Fair and Pow Wow. It will be on Friday and Saturday, February 6th and 7th, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 8th, from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The celebration will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, located at 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, Florida 33144. Events will be held in the Hard Rock Live arena and the Hooter’s parking lot, for the outdoors participation, on the east side of Seminole Paradise. Come and experience the traditions and culture of the of the Native American people at the Seminole Tribal Fair and Pow Wow.
It is going to be a big pow wow with all of its different competitions. With the two (2) venues, in addition to the usual lineup of Native American arts, crafts, foods and music, this Fair is expanded to host several Pow Wow competitions, open to all Native people across the country. The 3-day event features music by local Seminole talent, Seminole fashion shows, the colorful pageantry of the Little Mr. and Miss Seminole contest. There will also be a Drum Contests and Dance competitions in several categories. And you wouldn’t want to miss the exciting wildlife and alligator wrestling shows. The host drums are Young Bear, Northern drum and Yung Bux, Southern drum, winners of Gathering of Nations (GON) 2014.
