Run for the Rescues 5K

Looking for an upcoming marathon to participate in? Not only will you be participating in a marathon you will also be able to donate to the Boys and Girls Club. This Sunday Fort Lauderdale will be hosting a 5K called Run for the Rescues. The run will be held at the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and the address is 3109 East Sunrise Boulevard. This race is unique, because you will be runningthrough the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and it’s a beautiful scenic route. You will love the scenery so much that you might even forget you are running! This 5K isn’t just for runners. If you are a beginner you can choose to go at your own pace and if you like to walk you can walk the entire 5K. The Run for The Rescues 5K is open to participants of all ages. It’s encouraged that you register for this 5K in advance online. When registering, you will be given the option to register as an individual or as a team. The registration fee is $30 for the Run for the Rescues 5K. If you are interested in bringing your dog along with you for the 5K you are more than welcome to. The race will start at 8 am and parking is first come first served.
So enjoy a day in Fort Lauderdale with some friends and participate in the Run for the Rescues 5K. By participating in this run you are donating to the Boys and Girls Club. Don’t forget your sunscreen and water!
