The 25th Annual Riverwalk Blues and Music Festival

Looking for an opportunity to come out with your neighbors and friends and share the passion of the Blues? Well Saturday, February 14th and Sunday, February 15th, Fort Lauderdale will be hosting their 25th Annual Riverwalk Blues and Music Festival, a little music for the soul! Presented by Mosher Street Records.
It will be held at Esplanade Park, 400 SW Second Street, on the beautiful Riverwalk of downtown Fort Lauderdale, overlooking the Tarpon River. This venues is a great place for you to let your spirit let go and really enjoy the freedom of the outdoors and your soul. This family friendly event will start at 11:00 a.m. and run through 11:00 p.m. with a famous Frank All Star Jam on Saturday only from 11:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. The cost for adults is $25.00 while children under 12 years of age is $10.00. Seating is limited, so lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.
This day long event will host a wide variety of talented Blues artist, including Walter Wolfman Washington & The Roadmasters, being an icon on the New Orleans music scene for decades with his searing guitar work and soulful vocals, Guy Davis, a musician, composer, director, actor, and writer. But most importantly, Guy is a “Blues”man. Seth Walker and his expressive, soul-burnished voice, agile guitar artistry and impeccable southern songwriting, all of which have earned him a reputation as one of the most acclaimed modern roots artists in the country over the last decade. David Shelley and Bluestone is an eclectic fusion of blues, rock and world rhythms. Hard driving grooves with soulful blues guitar and vocals are the heart of their sound. “The Pitbull of Blues Band” enjoys sharing their own breed of blues plus so many more talented professional.
An array of vendors to compliment the live music, food and drink are sure to create an awesome festival. So come on down to the Riverwalk and enjoy a beautiful day, soothing your soul!
