Events in South Florida | Free Museum Entrance

Did you know that  Bank of America and Merrill Lynch offer a great “gift” to their patrons each and every first Sunday of the month? These two companies offer a FREE  pass for entrance to nationwide museums. Here in Florida, the event in Florida is called The “Museums on Us” .

All that is required is a credit or debit card issued by either Bank of America or Merrill Lynch.  You will also require a picture identification card. Present these two items to the museums and monthly get transported to fine art, history and wonderment.

Further north to us the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium also participate in this free offerings.

Grab a drink and nibble at the following eateries  located in the Museums. Located within the museum in Fort Lauderdale is a marvelous gift shop and cafe,  Books and Books. The Subway eatery is located in the Museum of Discovery and Science. Drinks and offerings are available The Museum of Contemporary Art, MOCA Lemonade Cafe.

Also, most of the museums offer a specialized gift shop… great place to purchase mentions of your day out.
