Events in Fort Lauderdale | Auto Show Fort Lauderdale International 2016

Twenty-five years ago the  Auto Show in Fort Lauderdale rolled into town. This year the event takes place on Thursday, March 24 through Sunday, March 27. The extravaganza is presented to us at the Greater Fort Lauderdale-Broward County Convention Center. There will be over 500 models of trucks, hybrids, and cars. There will be family SUV’s, sedan cars,  stylish convertible roadsters, working trucks and compact and “Green” cars.

Many manufacturers are enabling show attendees to test drive their models. For a complete list and to schedule an appointment to test drive cars head over here.

There will be vendors selling items to customize your vehicle and my personal favorite, Classic, and Antique Cars. My sources tell me you will see an old model Ford Mustangs, that “Little Red Corvette and the 1970’s style  “station wagon”… you know the model with the wooden look side panels?

The tickets are priced at $8.00 for adults, children’s tickets cost $3.00 and kiddies under the age of five enter free of charge. You can purchase tickets at the convention center or online here.

The Fort Lauderdale-Broward County Convention Center is located at 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard. Parking facilities are attached to the center, and of course, there are fees to park at the center.

Rumors have it that the show will also reveal 2017 model cars.
