Event In Fort Lauderdale  | Three Must Attend Venues

Can you feel the autumn breeze in the air? No, me neither but a girl can always dream! It seems at this time of the year; there is a slight nibble of holiday anticipation in the air. The following events in Fort Lauderdale set me in the mood for the journey into the holiday spirit.

First on the agenda, The Fort Lauderdale Arts and Crafts Show…. think holiday presents. My sources tell me there are 65 artisans signed up to market their wares this weekend. This event in Fort Lauderdale takes place on both Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

This is near State Road 84 and Marina Mile Boulevard, on the south side of the road.

Another arts and crafts festival takes place on Saturday, September 19.  This venue takes place in the evening, from the hours of 5 pm to 11 pm at Peter Feldman Park, 310 NE Sixth Street in Fort Lauderdale.

This event in Fort Lauderdale, The Night Owl Market Street Festival includes onsite crafting projects, shops artisan foods and music. Also on offer are vintage and retro clothing attire, accessories and even a home-goods area.

There is something very appealing about an evening of art and design.. debit card in hand.

A stroll along the New River and the gentle breeze in the air (humidity-free is best) is also inviting. The Riverwalk Fall Festival in Esplanade Park takes place this Saturday, September 19  between the hours of noon and 5 pm. Bring the children and enjoy autumn carnival themed games, competitions and activities. There will be live musical presentations and, of course, all sorts of vendors and food trucks.
