4th Annual Stone Crab & Seafood Festival

There are so many things to love about living or visiting Florida; the beautiful beaches, the warm weather, our access to delicious fresh produce year round and you can’t forget about our wonderful opportunity to enjoy the fruits of the sea. If you are a seafood lover, you don’t want to miss out on the 4th Annual Stone Crab & Seafood Festival in Fort Lauderdale. At the peak of stone crab season, this annual festival brings plenty of fresh claws and other seafood. This event is being held at the Esplanade Park, downtown, at 400 Southwest 2nd Street, sponsored by Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale. It will be on Saturday, January 17th, from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This festival is a free event, bringing you the freshest variety of the famous delectable stone crabs as well as a wide assortment of other delicious seafood dishes. The food is for purchase starting a t $5.00. The presenting sponsor is Grille 401, But many of Fort Lauderdale’s favorite seafood restaurants will be represented such as Kelly’s Landing-New England Seafood, Southport Raw Bar, Hott Legg’z “Drink’n.Cook’n.Rock’n”, Shuck N Dive, Nacho Bizness, Bimini Boatyard Bar & Grill, The Historic Downtowner and Stir It Up Eatery.
Riverwalk’s Beer Garden is returning this year and is sponsored by Stephens Distributing Company. The Beer Garden tickets are available for $20.00, which entitles anyone over the age of 21 admission. Inside the Garden, you will have the opportunity of unlimited beer tastings from multiple breweries in a collectible tasting cup. It is open from noon until 5:00p.m.
Come spend an afternoon celebrating the wonderful and delicious seafood industry of South Florida. With the great food, drinks, crowd favorite hermit crab races and other fun games, music by DJ Two Story Lori this free family friendly event is sure to entertain everyone. For seafood connoisseurs, or anyone who likes a festival, we’re sure you will have an enjoyable afternoon, rain or shine.
