Cooper City

 

Cooper City is Located in western Broward County, Cooper City is a small city sandwiched between Davie to the north and east, Southwest Ranches to the west and Pembroke Pines to the South.

The 2010 census revealed the city’s population was a mere 28,547 residents, small compared to other surrounding communities. This allows for a real hometown feeling.

Best known for its “A” rated education system including:

• Cooper City Elementary
• Embassy Creek Elementary- ranked number 36 out of 3000 schools in the state of Florida.
• Griffin Elementary School, another “A” rated elementary school.

Sports facilities include Brian Piccolo Park located on Flamingo Road. Also found on this north-south road area religious institutions of all varieties.

Cooper City, named after Morris Cooper, is strategically placed between interstate 95 and 75 ( closest and the easiest access to Miami) and the Florida Turnpike. Fort Lauderdale is approximately a 25-minute drive away on Interstate 595.

The port of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, and the beaches are less than a half hours drive away.

University Drive between Stirling and Sheridan Roads on Pine Island Road.
